Les Houches is a great area for families and beginners but it also plays host to the Kandahar run, a fast flowing, screaming descent which once a year sees the world's best ski racers grace its corners and steeps at breakneck speed. The men's Skiing World Cup has an exciting carnival atmosphere with cars backed up all the way to Sallanches bringing fans into the small town of Les Houches. Grab a cowbell and get involved.
