Cerisier is without question one of the finest chalets in the valley. It takes nothing to the extreme - with the possible exception of the incredible view and the size of the window you look at that view from - but everything about it is just right, and nothing at all is missing. It is built around the principle of keeping everything spacious and as light as possible - there is no farmhouse clutter, no pokey spare bedroom, nothing to cramp your relaxation and enjoyment.

Self Catered Option includes:

• Concierge service before and during your stay to help organise any services you might require such as ski pass purchase, transport etc

• A welcome at the chalet to explain how everything works as well as the chalet rules; a summary of what is going on in Chamonix and the best places to visit, rent skis, go out etc; a run through and confirmation of any services you may have pre booked with us such as guides, monitors, baby sitters etc

• 12 hours of housekeeping organised at a time most convenient to you during your week.

• Daily housekeeping including a full change of linen and towens in the middle of your stay.

• Fresh fruit and flowers: an elegant bouquet, as well as a large bowl of fresh seasonal fruits will be present on your arrival.

• Bathroom Products: at the beginning of your stay a range of high quality bathroom products will be provided for each bathroom.

• Fridge filling and champagne: the fridge will be stocked with a variety of the finest local fare, so you can prepare a light meal on your arrival and enjoy your first breakfast without having to worry about shopping or bringing your own food. Do let us know if any of your group have special dietary requirements.

• Chocolates: A box of delicious local chocolates will be waiting for you upon arrival.

• Newspapers: every morning a daily newspaper of your choice will be delivered by the housekeeper.

• Daily spa Servicing: The hot tub will be checked and rebalanced for you each morning.

• Breakfast: A copious and delicious fresh continental breakfast fopr the whole chalet brought daily and presented by your housekeeper.

The living area in Cerisier is the centrepiece of the chalet - open along with the kitchen and dining area, and housing an enormous sofa, projection screen for the DVD player/satellite TV, armchairs, an open fire, and what may well be the largest domestic window you have ever seen, looking up at what may well be the most astonishing view you have ever seen.

The chalet's dining space sits in the centre of the huge open plan middle floor. Right next to the kitchen area and seating 10 with plenty of elbow room, the broad and solid wooden table is perfect for lazy breakfasts, sit-down dinners or even a little work on the laptop. There are tables and chairs on the wrap-around balcony too, should you fancy a bit of sunrise freshness - or sunset romance - with your meal.

The bedrooms are as airy and spacious as the rest of the chalet - our intent when building Ceriser was to create a feeling of relaxation throughout, and you will find no clutter and nothing squeezed into corners. Light wood, large windows, satellite television is standard to every room. Cosy comfort is in abundant supply.

The exterior of Chalet Cerisier is just as strikingly spacious as its interior. The wrap-around balcony has tables, chairs and enough room for an outdoor dinner; the enormous garden is bordered by gentle woodland, and unusually for Chamonix, it is flat: resources for snowman building are considerable, and in the summer there's plenty of room for an impromptu game of cricket. Jsut make sure you don't break that window!

Cerisier's kitchen is deep and well equipped, from the morning's Nespresso through to every tool you (or your chef) could possibly need to create a gourmet meal to match the view outside the window.

Cerisier has everything you might expect from a chalet of luxury calibre: heated boot rack, outdoor hot tub, 6-man sauna, a games room with pool table and darts board, and a cosy snug with X-Box 360 and a range of DVDs. Whatever mood you find yourself in, Chalet Cerisier has something to cater for it.

An unusual feature on Cerisier is that the downstairs level has a standalone apartment, with its own small living space and kitchen. Perfect if you are travelling with friends or older children, it is equally useful as a second suite bedroom, or just to minimise fuss over eating times.
